Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) under the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- Candidates must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, duly affiliated with NCVT/SCVT. The ITI certificate is mandatory.

- Candidates must be minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years of age.
- SC/ST: Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years

- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Upper age limit relaxed as per government rules
